As Director of Photography I worked very closely with Director Sandra Ludwig in creating a dynamic and authentic aesthetic that captures the vibe of the song. We utilized the Leica R primes for their vintage look and warm lens flares, such as the RED V-Raptor for it’s full frame sensor, small form factor, and high image quality. With this compact camera package we went with a mix of slider, handheld, and car-mounted shots to always keep the camera moving. Additionally, a vintage Hi8 Camcorder was used to give the video a more personal and playful feeling, as if the artist actually shot the footage herself.
